Our Next Concert

About Cheshire Sinfonia

Cheshire Sinfonia was formed in May 2005 with the intention of providing excellence in music making for players and audiences alike. The orchestra comes together for a brief but intensive period of preparation before each concert and players join by invitation or audition on a concert by concert basis. This flexibility enables the orchestra to attract the best available players for each concert.

In just over ten years, Cheshire Sinfonia has attracted widespread acclaim for its quality of ensemble, blend and the sheer freshness and exuberance of its performances.

In addition to its own season of concerts, Cheshire Sinfonia collaborates in performances with its sister organisation, the chamber choir CHORALE, and has accompanied a number of the region’s choral societies, including Chester Music Society, Stockport Grammar School and the Barnby Choir.

Our concerts are given in the beautiful surroundings and excellent acoustics of St. Michael and All Angels Church, Robins Lane, Bramhall.
